Tieto, a Finnish IT Services provider, plans to reduce their amount of workers amid IT services on the rise. They plan to cut up to 770 jobs, about 5% of their workforce this year as part of making the best cost-cutting decisions. Overall this would save $50 million a year for Tieto. In March of 2012 they cut 1,600 jobs and the latest cuts would be done by the end of next year. By the end of 2012 Tieto had 15,447 employees working for them.
